In many areas of industry, the safety of workers is held unequivocally as the highest priority within any scope of work.

Confined space areas are often considered to be the most dangerous for those involved for a great many reasons, such as exposure to asbestos and other hazardous materials, or limited areas to work in safely.

Thanks to RUAS’ specialist pilots however, we are able to conduct inspections in these kinds of areas that would have not only been dangerous, but costly to carry out and time consuming.

Using bespoke aircraft and methodology, we are able to carry out inspections in confined spaces such as oil and gas furnaces and tanks within a couple of hours, eliminating the need to utilise rope access teams and other workers in potentially life-threatening and hazardous environments that could take days of planning and execution to complete safely.

Using a professional indoor drone instead of sending an inspector in to collect visual data manually means that companies save on not having to build and take down scaffolding, and can reduce downtimes associated with those requirements, in some cases by as much as one to two days.
