Full Day Flight Training

£200.00

A full day flight training is aimed at those with very little or no flying experience. On arrival to the venue, you will check in an receive a safety and technical briefing from a CAA approved RUAS instructor. You will receive a flight training handbook and be briefed on the aircraft and its controls. The flight training will progress in accordance with the individual’s level of skill and experience – focussing on the basics first. The training day can end with a mock flight assessment if required.

Please note flight training is weather dependent – if the forecasted weather exceeds the parameters of the aircraft as per the manufacturer’s instructions – the date will need to be rebooked.

The individual is expected to use their own drone, however for an additional cost a drone can be hired through RUAS.

What is the Full Day Flight Training course?

On arrival at the venue you will check in and receive a safety and technical briefing from a CAA approved experienced drone instructor. They will discuss the controls with you as well as the route that you will follow, then it’s on to the indoor interactive flight simulators to learn the controls and fly the drone.

This course allows you to:

  • Learn how to fly a drone in a secure environment
  • Be taught by an CAA approved experienced drone instructor.
  • Get a feel for the industry in a friendly and fun environment.

Our training locations

We run regular classroom based courses in Newport, South Wales, Hull and Essex. Other training locations may be available on request depending on group size. If you have more than 8 people in your group then we can arrange a location close to you.
